Face the fire. You made a serious error in judgment, and got busted for it. If you're not a resident of New York, you can't get a New York licence. Even if you were, they still wouldn't issue you a licence while the New Jersey suspension is active. Even if you could, finding employment as a driver within the first three years of a DUI conviction is only a theoretical possibility - the cost to insure you would be much higher than any employer would be willing to pay.
