sounds like universal jounts going bad ,but may be driveshaft bolts Check the u joints before you drive it again!
If it is a two wheel drive, yes.
The exact year and model of both the donor Jeep and the recipient Jeep are required for an exact answer. Some years and models 4.0L engines will interchange and some will not. 1993-1997 Jeep ZJ Grand Cherokee engines will interchange with 1991-2001 Jeep XJ Cherokees. You may have to re-use intake/exhaust manifolds, fan belt driven accessories, engine sensors, or the flywheel that were on the original engine. 1999-2004 WJ Grand Cherokee and 2000-2006 TJ Wrangler 4.0L engines will interchange. You may have to re-use intake/exhaust manifolds, fan belt driven accessories engine sensors, or the flywheel that were on the original engine. XJ/ZJ engines DO NOT interchange with 1999-2006 WJ/TJ engines. There are significant differences in the motor mounts and the locations of the belt driven accessories.
The heat shields on the Cherokee models are needed. The floor pans in the Cherokee models are thin and are penetrated by heat very easily. If you have driven one much, you will notice that the drivers and passengers front floor pans get quite warm from the engine heat. This is true with the muffler also. If it is not shielded the floor will get really hot and penetrate into the cab.
pre 2001 diesels and petrol engines were chain driven... cam belt change is not an issue
I have a 1998 Sport and have several times gotten the low fuel light. Never actually have run out of gas and I have driven up to about 15 miles with the light on.
The "Cherokee" is a model of Piper Aircraft. It is a single engine, propeller driven, low wing aircraft.

The sector shaft is the secondary or indirectly driven shaft in a manual transmission. It typically houses the "driven" gears along with reverse, although newer transmissions place reverse on its own shaft.
If it is a two wheel drive, yes.
No this is a chain or gear driven engine all belt driven engines have plastic covers behind the accessories dead give away
WIf you drive x miles in reverse, you could have driven the same x miles forward - in "Drive". The distance between A and B remains the same as the distance between B and A - do it that way or some other way.
The price of a Jeep Cherokee Sport depends on which year it was built, how many miles it has been driven, and what type of accessories are included with it.
Electronic speedometers/odometers do work in both directions. The old cable driven speedometers/odometers ran backwards in while reverse.
All serpentine belt driven water pumps on SBC engines are reverse rotation.
Jeep Cherokee's have 2 cooling system fans and one climate control fan. One cooling system fan is fan belt driven and the other one is electric and is turned on/off by the engine computer at about 215*. The A/C and heater fan is electric.
Did it just start? Mine also 'whines/howls' when driven in reverse at a quick speed. It may normal to the design. I seem to think that most Hondas & Toyotas seem to do this in reverse.
