Yes, you can pay for an annual plan. Sirius XM Satellite Radio, for example, offers monthly, 1 year, 2 year and 3 year plans, with a greater discount for the longer the plan is.
I think it means you can buy a satellite radio receiver, and your stereo will accept it's input without modification.
The satellite radio services in the United States (Sirius and XM) do need subscriptions. You have to buy the radio (or some new cars come with an XM radio) and then you pay the monthly subscription fee.
Past some point, yes. Satellite radio is a business; it stays on the air because its listeners pay for it. The new car may have come with some period of pre-paid service, but that period will run out sooner or later. There are two ways to find out how much free service came with the purchase of the car: 1). Call up the dealer and ask. 2). Wait until the first day you turn on the radio and you don't hear anything. The pre-paid period expired the day before that.

Don't get dazzled. It's radio. You have a radio receiver in your car. The three XM satellites and about 900 ground repeaters have radio transmitters. They transmit radio from the transmitters to the receiver in your car. Except for some updates in technology, the frequencies used, and the fact that you have to pay for it, as far as you the driver are concerned, XM is the same thing that's been going on since Motorola first took a radio out of a kitchen and put it in a car.

Once you buy an HD receiver then you will get HD radio for free but your stations have to have the feature to get the quality. You pay for Satellite Radio but you get a ton more stations and can pick and choose to listen to any within your package. HD is only for regular local radio stations that have an HD antenna. Both boast great sound quality which is true they are way better that a normal radio station but still short of CD quality. If better sound if what you want then buy an HD receiver if better sound and more options is what you want then buy a subscription to satellite radio.
The public radio jobs pays about $37,000 a year. Some pay more, and some pay less, depending on where you stand. Some pay $40,000-$45,000. That is all the information that I have.

The two major competitors are Sirius and XM - review each programs availability and channels you like and choose between the two because they generally are equally priced and successful. You can have satellite radio installed in your car if your receiver said satellite radio ready. Then you dont have to pay for the installation just the subscription. If you don't have it then you will need to have the equipment installed and add the subscription. A lot of new cars are coming out with satellite radio. It's free for trial but then you eventually would have to order a subscription. Some cars are sponsored either by Sirus or XM so you dont get the choice to choose.

Well that is the big difference, you pay for satellite because you get more options and channels. There is versatilite to have satellite radio portability and locally. You can have it in your car and then bring it inside to your work Basically anywhere you can get a signal you can get the radio and the big kick about this from regular radio is you can get any channel anywhere. You can listen to a channel from across the states anywhere you are. They also have local repeaters that allow you to get a better signal even if you are in a major city or even in a tunnel. yes but you watch, that free radio that we get now will be gone soon enough because of this satilite radio the same thing just happened to tv's if you didnt have sat. or cable you could watch cbc or somethin on the news but now theyve cut all thoughs free channeles off

If the car is in good condition, one can expect to pay between $18,000 and $20,000 for a 2011 Chevy HHR. If the car comes with devices such as a GPS or satellite radio, one might expect to pay a little bit more.
