Practice maintaining a strong core and using your arms for balance rather than steering. Additionally, work on shifting your weight smoothly from one ski to the other during turns to improve control and efficiency.

You actually have to be a first soprano. No amount of practice, training, or stubbornness will turn one type of voice into another. Voice lessons only develop the voice you have. If nature meant for you to be a first, you can learn to use your upper range. If you were meant by nature to be a contralto, even if you can sing that high, singing constantly against your voice type will eventually ruin whatever voice you do have.

The pflugel, or "pflug" technique, is a snowplow turn used in skiing. To perform it, start by shifting your weight onto the inside edge of your downhill ski while angling your knees and hips toward the turn. As you initiate the turn, create a wedge shape with your skis by bringing the tips closer together and spreading the tails apart, which helps to control your speed and direction. Practice this technique on gentle slopes before trying it on steeper terrain.
A Christie Turn is a combination of a Stem Turn and a Parallel Turn. You start with your skis parallel, skiing downhill, or traversing across the hill. When you want to turn, you put your upper ski into a V position, with the front of your skis pointing together. You will now be 'Snow Plowing'. Once your in this position, you can adjust your weight to inside edge of the outside ski, causing you to start rotating down the hill on that ski. Once you are nearing the desired end of your turn, you slide, or lift, your other ski, so you are standing parallel again. This is repeated, and practiced, until the skiier has learned a full Parallel Turn.

I have only been skiing once and it was great experience.I first went to a great ski school where they taught me how to stop, turn, slow down, ect. The teacher recommended what hills I should ski on (like the easy, green hills) and that is where I went. I did fall down 4-5 times, but nothing big!So it really depends on the person skiing, but my first time was actually pretty easy.TIP:If it's your first time skiing (or if you haven't been skiing in a while) I would recommend taking a class. Don't be intimidated about taking a class. Even pros take classes to improve on their skills.
you twist your ankles and you turn. then stop and do again the other way. You never twist your ankles while skiing. If you are capable of it your boots aren't fitting you properly. Your ankles shouldn't move. You do roll your KNEES however. That is carving which is fairly advanced skiing. For the begging you will turn by shifting weight from one foot to the other. I'm assuming you've never skied before because you needed to ask this question. If you want to learn to ski please get a lesson. They can be the difference between a lifelong passion and a lifelong passionate hate. Have fun with skiing!!
