How do you make a song yourself?

There is many ways, but this is how I do it. First of all, sit down think "what do I want to write about"?

Then you start to write it down, try phrasing it different ways, you have enough to go on you write a basic meldy, our try sing it with a combo of different chords. Don't worry if the words don't seem to fit, just try different ways in singing the song. Now if you want more then one instrument playing in your song, you need a band, or a computer program. From there you should be good. :)

Another thing, follow the basic rules of song writing, there needs to be a a chorus, a bridge, and line 1, line 2, plus as many more lines as you want. :)
