Music doesn't simply enter a ear and leave through the next. In fact music is a passion and sort of like a drug that helps you ease yourself. Music touches the soul, heart, and mind. The mind rests when hearing music, the same way as if you were to fall asleep in order to rest your mind for a better appetite, mood, and happiness. In teens, music is an escape from whatever emotions they're going through, it channels the mind to focus on a more happier state rather then letting the mind cry itself to sleep. Scientific evidence has proven that the mind works well with music because the mind simply responds to rhythms played by songs, I don't know exactly how but that's how our minds work.

If your interested where I got this information then I would say to you I picked it up in high school, where I, and not only I as a teenager experience or did experience a sense of betrayal or where people didn't understand how you and I might of felt.

I'm hoping to get into a university to earn my degree in Psychology, so if you wouldn't mind holding up on that question for a couple of years, I would gladly answer your question with more insightful detail.
