I got to Woodstock on Sunday afternoon Aug 17, 1969. The first band I saw play was Grace Slick and the Jefferson Airplane. I'm trying to find out if it rained before I got there. Did rain cause the Airplane to have an afternoon set or was it some other reason?

Bethel is 43 miles southwest of the town of Woodstock, where the 3 day concert had originally been planned. Woodstock was not in Woodstock.
