You need to find the place in your mind where you can be at the same time you have to sing in front of other people. For example - if you're comfortable singing in front of your choir teacher, then in your mind, imagine everyone in the audience is a clone of your choir teacher - and just sing to her. Performance anxiety is worse when you're not prepared and you know it. If you practice and are very comfortable with the material, then this feeling will lessen. Also, if you sing in front of people (force yourself to do it over and over) you'll eventually get over being nervous - it just happens over time.
