The hi-hat symbol in a drum kit is used to create a steady beat and add rhythmic texture to the music being played. It is played by striking the two cymbals together with a foot pedal, producing a crisp and consistent sound that helps keep the tempo of the music.
To effectively tune your drum kit using a drum kit tuner, start by placing the tuner on the drum head and striking the drum. Adjust the tension of the drum's lugs until the tuner shows the desired pitch. Repeat this process for each drum in your kit to ensure they are all in tune with each other.
A drum kit typically includes a bass drum, snare drum, tom-toms, cymbals, and hardware like stands and pedals.
Using a standing drum kit can provide better posture, increased energy and movement, improved circulation, and a more engaging performance experience compared to a traditional seated drum kit.
The essential components needed for a 4 piece drum kit setup are a bass drum, a snare drum, a floor tom, and a mounted tom.
A traditional drum kit consists of components such as a bass drum, snare drum, tom-toms, hi-hat cymbals, crash cymbal, and ride cymbal. These components are arranged in a specific way for a performance, with the bass drum at the center, the snare drum between the legs, tom-toms above the bass drum, and cymbals positioned around the kit. The drummer uses different parts of the kit to create a variety of sounds and rhythms during a performance.
I'm not sure where the usual place is, but the drummer of my old band put it on the hihat stand, above the cymbals

Probably a snare drum, some tom toms, a couple ride symbols and a hi-hat symbol.
