Punk dress code is characterized by an edgy, rebellious aesthetic that often includes elements such as leather jackets, band T-shirts, ripped jeans, and combat boots. Accessories like studs, spikes, chains, and safety pins are common, along with unconventional hairstyles, often featuring bright colors or mohawks. The style embraces individuality and anti-establishment sentiment, often mixing thrifted and DIY pieces for a distinctive, personalized look. Overall, punk fashion is about self-expression and defying mainstream norms.

'Is it weird that you listen to punk music but you don't act or dress punk?

for some people it is weird but its not for me..i have couple friends who listen to punk but don't really dress like that and definitely not act like one..so i think it is the matter of person ..someone like some type of music but doesn't like the style that goes with it and that's OK... THERE IS NO WAY TO DRESS PUNK UNLESS YOU ARE A POSER IT'S YOUR OWN STYLE..and i have ton's of friends who are skatepunk and crust punk and we dress as diffrent as possible..the point of the punk subcultre is to be as diffrent as possible...to rebel against society..to do things your own way...bottom line is if you listen to punk then you are a punk as long as you don't copy other people's style and have your own unique style..
