what i think he means is "don't quit your day job" it really just depends on plublicity and if you have gotten signed by a record label.

there is a very high range and a very low one, to the cost of creating, running, performing, etc... in a rock band. the income you have can be varied by how many sales you have, (this is if you already have a record label... if not then... you might want to get one for maximum income.(otherwise you will be playing in pubs and stuff and tbh that's not the best way to get he most income at all...) its actuly very rubbish income lolz!) most of the time if you start off playing in pubs in the middle of knowhere... your outgoing costs will be alot more then your income because of expences... firstly like equipment...(your kinda gunna need an instrument to be able to perform lolz!) and then stuff like travel costs and it all mounts up in the end... but basiclly looking at it all together you could be ranging from: -£££££££££££ to ££££££££!! its very complicated to be able to tell what a band is going to make overall i suppose you best be very lucky to make it in the music industry tbh...
