Two things here. This isn't really a very appropriate or decently answered question. Sooo, Removed everything prior to this. There is no surefire way to know what Lil' Kim went to the hospital for, so far it's only a rumor. It could or could not be true, there is no correct answer.

As for believing things on the internet, find validating sites. Most press based ones, the important ones, .edu, .gov, all those are 'verifiable' sites to get information from.

Secondly, the "they would show in the news if it were true" person. That's a very incorrect point of view on the news. They don't show everything, and that's SURELY NOT A TOPIC THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR TV. So they wouldn't have it on the news ANYWAY. Ahem.
