There are seven base units in the metric, or SI, system. All other units are derived from these. There are:
Metre, m, length.
Second, s, time.
Kilogram, kg, mass.
Kelvin, K, temperature.
Ampere, A, electrical current.
Candela, cd, luminous intensity.
Mole, mol, amount of substance.

Length or distance is measured in meters.
Capacity
Since length is measured in meters, and time in seconds, it follows that speed is measured in meters/second.
a volume can be measured in meters cubed (m3), centimeters cubed (cm3) or other measurings. A room's volume would probably be measured in meters cubed.
cloth length
A rectangle measuring 5m * 5m (technically, a square) has an area of 5*5 = 25 m^2
A room, a house, a car, a person and your face (if your normal).
Length or distance is measured in meters.
meters are a measure of lengthmeters squared are a measure of areaThey measure different things and cannot be directly converted. However, if you are given the lengths of, say, a rectangle, multiplying the two lengths (each measured in meters) together will find the area (measured in meters squared).
Length of a swimming pool Height of a building Area of a room
Everything in track is measured in meters, the track, throwing distances, jumping heights. Although, in the U.S. we often go by feet when measuring throws or jumping heights / lengths.
road
Distance can be measured in metres.
The newer the pool, the higher the chance that it's measured in meters. Proffesional or school swimming pools are measured in yards or meters. The newer the pool, the higher the chance that it's measured in meters. Proffesional or school swimming pools are measured in yards or meters.
