malaria is a potentially fatal blood disease caused by a protozoan i.e. "Plasmodium" by its four different stages - P.vivax, P.ovale, P.falciparum and P.malarial. When an infected female anopheles mosquito bites a healthy person, the parasite "Plasmodium" reaches in the blood through its saliva. These parasite grow fast in the red blood corpuslces and R.B.C. burst off. A toxic substance "Haemozion" is released with the bursting of R.B.C. High fever occurs, a person experiences lack of blood and spleen increases in size.
