Bucky balls are a form (allotrope) of carbon, like graphite and diamonds. They are made of carbon, which is an element. They are a pure form of the element carbon, so they are an element.

There are thousands of carbon compounds around in nature and also synthetically. Some of the names include hydrocarbons (only H and C in them), alchols (an OH functional group in them) and many more. Synthetically, there are Fullerines ('bucky balls' such as C60), and carbon nanotubes.
There are eight allotropes of carbon. Bucky ball is one of the allotrope of carbon. Bucky ball is also called fullerene
Yes they are. It says that if you swallow them they can stick to your intestines and could cause death. So I wouldn't swallow or inhale them.

Bucky balls are not naturally found but it can be take by special order.

Magnetic balls can be purchased online through websites like Amazon, eBay, or specialty retailers that sell magnetic toys. It's important to verify that the product is safe and complies with relevant safety standards before making a purchase.
They are definitely sold in K-mart. That's were I got mine so good luck!
They cost $29.95 at first it is a rip off ,but not after you use them

I would say buckyballs. The cubes seem like there are less shapes possible, also, they're a lot harder to work with because the polarity is different. The cubes are also less flexible where as the balls are more flimsy and can be molded easier. hope this helps!
Bucky balls are composed of carbon atoms linked to three other carbon atoms by covalent bonds. However, the carbon atoms are connected in the same pattern of hexagons and pentagons you find on a soccer ball, giving a buck ball the spherical structure as shown in the following figure. Bucky balls, also called fullerenes, were one of the first nanoparticles discovered. A Bucky ball is any molecule composed entirely of carbon, in the form of a hollow sphere, ellipsoid, or a tube. This is the informal term used to describe these compounds which are collectively known as polyhedral carbon molecules. A buck ball is a spherical or ellipsoidal cage made up of covalently bonded carbon atoms
Bucky balls, or fullerenes, specifically the most common form known as C60, have a diameter of approximately 1 nanometer (nm), or 10 angstroms. These spherical molecules consist of 60 carbon atoms arranged in a structure similar to a soccer ball. Their unique size and shape contribute to their interesting chemical and physical properties.
