Consumer
The energy in the producers comes from the sun. It feeds the consumers. The decomposers ultimately release the energy from the consumers and the producers that were not consumed.
producers- a living thing that gets its energy from the sun ex. plants primary consumers or herbivores. Are living things that get their energy from plants. ex. rabbits secondary consumers or omnivores. Are Living things that get their energy from either plants or other animals. Ex. A bear tertiary consumers or carnivores. Are living things that get their energy from other animals only ex. a mountain lion decomposers. Are living things that break down dead organisms. ex. Mushrooms Note not to be confused with detrivores living things that eat dead things.
Ecosystems flow from producers to consumers. Producers, such as plants, convert energy from the sun into organic compounds, which are then consumed by primary consumers (herbivores). This energy flow continues through the food chain to higher-level consumers.
Consumers go after producers in a food web.
In an ecosystem, producers are typically plants and other photosynthetic organisms that convert sunlight into energy. Primary consumers are herbivores that eat these producers, such as rabbits or deer. Secondary consumers are carnivores that feed on primary consumers, like foxes or hawks. This food chain illustrates the flow of energy from producers to consumers at different trophic levels.
Flies that eat mushrooms are considered consumers. They are part of the food chain, as they obtain energy by feeding on organic matter, such as fungi, rather than producing their own energy through photosynthesis like producers do. In this case, mushrooms can be classified as decomposers, breaking down organic material, while flies utilize them as a food source.
animals are consumers and plants are producers.
they are both consumers and producers
consumers and producers
Primary consumers
Producers are the food for primary consumers.
You can differentiate between producers and consumers by understanding that producers make their own food. Consumers cannot do that.
how is the producers and consumers from today different from years ago.
Producers are organisms that can create their own food from raw chemicals and energy from sunlight. (Plants) Consumers are organisms that can't make their own food so they kill and eat other living things to live. (Cows and Tigers) Decomposers are organisms that eat the stuff that consumers leave behind, they rot things away and release the chemicals for producers to re use. (Mushrooms and bacteria).
Producers....
They are all of them
they are consumers
