When you look at the stars at night, you can't really tell how distant they are. They can easily seem to be closer than they really are.
a wormhole is a hole - which don't have colours. The best description I ever heard of a wormhole was from 2001: a space odyssey 'The things hollow. It goes on forever and... Oh my God! Its full of stars.'

The Gilmore Girls, being Lorelai and Rory, live in a extemely small town, Stars Hollow, which is in Connecticut.
Gilmore Girls was not filmed in Connecticut. It was filmed on the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, CA. The fictitious town in which Gilmore Girls is set is Stars Hollow Connecticut, which is, based on the information from the show, roughly 30 minutes from both Hartford and New Haven. The town of Stars Hollow is based on the real Connecticut town of Washington Depot.

The hollow stars represent the rating that you gave the album. This can happen because you downloaded a pre-rated album (tsk tsk) or you accidentally set it yourself. There is not an obvious place to change it but the easiest way in itunes8 is: 1) go to the menu bar and click "View">>"As Grid" 2) double click the offending album 3) there should be hollow stars under the image of the album giving its rating 4) click the stars, hold down, and drag the rating to 0 (this won't change the individually rated tracks btw) 5) no more hollow stars will appear in list view It took a while to figure that one out and it really should be an option in the tag editor
they mean the store item is new :)
