Most plants (with the exception of a few) normally produce seeds that carry the genes that will result in both female and male flowers.
There are a few types of plants though that develop into single sexed plants - common examples include the Mango, the Date Palm and Cannabis plants.
Here male pollen needs to fertilize a female ovule, which then results in an embryo which becomes the seed for a new plant. This sex of this plant is determined by the genetic make up of the parents and is fixed when the ovule is fertilized.
The female plant cannot produce seed without a male counterpart.
I do have to point out that the male plant doesn't produce seeds. It pollinates, which is what ultimately makes the female plant produce seeds. you would need a female plant to get any seeds at all.
A female cannabis plant can produce seeds if it is pollinated by a male plant. However, when grown without male plants present, female cannabis plants will not produce seeds and will instead focus on producing cannabinoid-rich flowers.
Plants that produce seeds on the surface of female reproductive structures such as cones are called gymnosperms.

A female marijuana plant does not produce any seeds, unless it is polinated by a male plant. Once the plant is pollinated there is not set number of seeds that are produce, but there will be a lot depending on the amount of pollinations.
Yes there is male and female plants. Female plants produce the bud and male plants produce pollen sacs when the pollen germinates with the female plant it produces seeds.
It must of somehow been pollinated during flowering... and or was a male plant. Female plants produce no seeds.
The flowers are the structures on a plant that produce seeds for reproduction. Inside the flowers, the male pollen from the stamen fertilizes the female ovule in the pistil, resulting in the formation of seeds.
they produce seeds

pinus plant does not have a flower, it has a male and female cones.
Angiosperms and gymnosperm plant types both produce seeds
Fruit don't exactly make seeds. I mean they do, but then they don't. It's in the matter of reproduction with a male plant and a female plant. A male plant has pollen that goes into a female plant, but a female plant already has seeds. They actually grow it. So you can say that they DO make SEEDS! :) -hope that helps!
