no
Salt water can corrode glass over time, causing it to become cloudy or frosted. It can also cause pitting or etching on plastic surfaces, particularly if the plastic is not designed to be resistant to salt water. Both glass and plastic can be damaged by exposure to salt water if not properly cared for and maintained.
Higher molecular interaction force contribute to higher density. In additional, higher molecular weight give tendency to higher density at same intermolecular force. Even plastic had different density, some plastic is lighter than water but some can be twice heavy, PVC for example.
The mass of the glass of water will remain the same if there is no evaporation or addition of any substances. The weight of the glass of water may decrease slightly due to evaporation of water over time, but this change would be very small for a short period.
Glass floats in mercury because mercury is much denser than glass, creating a buoyant force that allows the glass to float. In contrast, water is less dense than glass, causing the glass to sink due to its higher density. The buoyant force in water is not enough to support the heavier glass object.
It floats because the water is heaver then the bottle. The bottle is light so it floats. No,It floats because the particles are free to move inside but with water in it there is not enough space for the particles to move so it floats.
depends if the plastic is heavier or lighter than water and if its hold air which is lighter than water
Glass would be healthier

I would say glass. Glass is nonporous and easily cleaned and disinfected. Plastic is soft and the molecules making up the plastic bottle may leach into the water.
plastic is an insulator so it keeps you from being electrocuted.
Water "wets" plastic more than glass, giving a lower reading
A couple of advantages of resin plastic water bottles include durability when compared to glass bottles. The plastic bottle can be recycled and then used over and over again. Also these bottles are lighter which makes them more convenient to carry around during the day.
plastic will float in water because it is lighter than oil
Balls that are denser than water will sink. This includes materials like glass, steel, or rocks. Conversely, balls made of lighter materials like plastic or foam will typically float.
Throw them at the ground. The glass will shatter. Plastic will not. dont try this at home... It wont hold water.

Some transparent objects are water, air, and clear glass.
