Nuclear fusion, like any process of producing power, uses fuel in doing so. In the stars, where fusion is the source of their energy, hydrogen is being used in fusion, producing helium plus energy. In any star the supply of hydrogen will eventually run out and the star will die, but its lifetime will be immensely long, many billions of years.
On earth, if fusion can be made to work, it will use isotopes of hydrogen which are abundant, so as a source of energy it would last for many thousands of years.
Nuclear fusion doesn't produce energy.
I currently use nuclear fusion.
Nuclear fusion does not currently occur in nuclear plants. Nuclear plants use nuclear fission, where atoms are split to release energy. Fusion reactions, in which atomic nuclei combine to release energy, are not yet used commercially for electricity generation.
No, a nuclear power plant producing electricity is an example of nuclear fission, not fusion. In nuclear fission, the nucleus of an atom is split, releasing energy, whereas in nuclear fusion, atomic nuclei combine to release energy.
The star will continue to fuse hydrogen until it runs out of resources and dies out, after which it will collapse and die.
Nuclear fusion on earth has not been achieved in any way that could produce power, but experiments continue.
It may be possible, experiments continue but success is a long way off.
Nuclear Fusion
Fusion is a nuclear reaction.
With fission reactors, probably at least a hundred years. By then fusion may be usable and this will last indefinitely, as so much deuterium is in the oceans.
Nuclear fusion produces nuclear energy
"The onset of fusion marks the birth of stars. Once nuclear fusion begins in a star, the prcess can continue for billions of years." I got this info. from my text book, hope it helped you. :T
Nuclear fusion
Nuclear fusion doesn't produce energy.
A self-sustaining energy production system, such as nuclear fusion, that can operate for an extended period or indefinitely without external input is often referred to as a sustainable or perpetual energy source.
In nuclear fusion mass transforms into energy.
No Strontium is produced by nuclear fission not fusion.
