The lowest ozone concentration (the "hole") occurs where there is little / no UV-C to make ozone. If there is no UV-C, there is no UV-B for ozone to protect us from. The thinning of the ozone layer near the tropics is the problem, not the hole. Ozone decays rapidly, so the ozone layer would have to be bombed *a lot*. Which will require more fossil fuels be consumed to loft the ozone, which will place more humidity at the level of the ozone layer, which will in turn destroy more ozone. SO as one responder said: No, dude.

NO

If ozone is a gas then why are there holes in it?

The ozone is yes a gas. It does not have hole. It is the lowering of its concentration.

Why is the hole of the ozone layer at the south but the north uses gas?

The ozone hole is south. It is because of the westerlies that carry CFC's.

Which gas makes holes in ozone?

CFC's are the main substances which cause ozone hole. They react with ozone and decompose it.

Where is the ozone hole present?

Ozone layer has hole in it above Antartica continent. It is formed due to CFC gas. Beacuse of the hole there is an increase in the temperature of earth.

Can you fill the hole in ozone layer with artificially prepared ozone gas at a laboratory?

No. Ozone is a very unstable gas and is found fairly uniformly throughout the planet. The "hole" found at each pole occurs only during the winter at each pole. If we could produce enough ozone and insert i into the area that is thin, we would see it degrade into oxygen in a few days. The layer needs the sun, which is not present during their winter months, to keep the ozone active and not decay into oxygen.

Why ozone layer surround ozone hole?

Ozone layer does not surround ozone hole. Ozone layer has many holes in it. However it has a considerable major hole in it above Antartica continent. It is formed due to CFC gas. Beacuse of the hole there is an increase in the temperature of earth.

Can you fill ozone holes with ozone gas prepared in the laboratory?

No. See the related questions section below.

What is the ozone hole and how does it form?

The ozone layer is a layer of ozone gas. The layer is present in stratosphere. It helps in protecting earth.

What gas is the main cause of the ozone hole and what is the source of this gas?

Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) are the main cause of the ozone hole. These gases were commonly used in refrigerants, aerosol propellants, and solvents. When released into the atmosphere, CFCs break down and release chlorine atoms, which destroy ozone molecules in the stratosphere.
