No, it is not possible to predict with absolute certainty when or where an earthquake will occur. However, seismologists use various methods to assess the likelihood of earthquakes in specific regions based on past seismic activity and tectonic plate movements.
Seismologists can never guarantee with absolute certainty that an earthquake or volcanic eruption will not occur in a particular area. While they can assess the likelihood of events occurring based on historical data and monitoring techniques, the Earth's dynamics are complex and unpredictable, making it impossible to completely rule out the possibility of such events.
bauxite is formed when you there is an earthquake the mountain crumble off and thos crumbles are whats called bauxite
I am not sure I am still in school so I did not get to that thinks for asking me though :):(
The earth is made up of many plates all overlapping, when the rub against each other, due to the build up of force underneath, this causes an earthquake. The plates are large and don't run through some ccuontries. However one thing is for sure, that when one strikes, the people inhabitating the area- like in Haiti- live's will never be the same

No one knows for sure when the next earthquake is going to be anywhere. Thier could be more after shocks.

Practice earthquake drills regularly and make sure you have an earthquake kit that would supply you and your family with food and water for up to 3 days.
Sure it did. That area is earthquake area and quakes happen all the time.
Earthquakes can occur almost anywhere in southern California, but are usually located in areas on major fault lines.
I am not really sure about social problems but people could tend to get anxious and it would be a burst in public feud. People could start arguing over what is the best course of action, or whether or not the earthquake predicted to happen will really occur and people may or may not prepare for one if it was to occur because some may argue that it is fine but some people are touchy in the situations and it's basically unpredictable what kind of social problems may occur but those are just some suggestions that I think would be.
yes it can! it can happen like lightning! there are 20 plates how an earthquake can occur with heat and presure. make sure yull be prepared!
you can't predict an earthquake. There are earthquakes all the time and I'm sure several will occur over the next 24 hours. Unfortunately you can't tell for sure when and where they will occur. Check out this site with all of the USA earthquakes in the last 7 days: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsus/
Well, from what I understand, there's the main Earth Quake, and then an After Shock, which is a smaller Earth quake usually followed up from the main one. I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I hope it helps!
You should contact the local authorities, and ask them for help. While you're waiting, you can make sure there isn't anything that can crash down on you when an earthquake strikes. Also be sure to cloase all windows, and hide in the cellar or basement, but NOT near any glass.
I'm not sure but I think Tyranitar learns Earthquake after evolution.
