Evaporation is when there is a river and the hot air from below rises and carries little water droplets with it, which then go into the air to form clouds. The clouds then move along and sometimes form. Then, if a cloud has too many water droplets inside of them, its falls down and makes rain, and goes back into the river to start it again.

What are two scientific terms that describe the conversion of a liquid to a gas or vapor below its boiling point?

The two scientific terms that describe the conversion of a liquid to a gas or vapor below its boiling point are evaporation and sublimation. Evaporation occurs at the surface of a liquid, while sublimation involves the direct transition from a solid to a gas without passing through the liquid phase.

Is the term used to describe the transition from liquid water to water vapor?

The term used to describe the transition from liquid water to water vapor is "evaporation." This process occurs when molecules at the surface of the liquid gain enough energy to overcome intermolecular forces and enter the gaseous state. Evaporation can happen at any temperature, but it is more rapid at higher temperatures.

What describe the evaporation of water?

Evaporation is the process where water transforms from a liquid state to a vapor or gas state. It occurs when heat energy is applied to water, causing molecules at the surface to gain enough energy to escape into the air. Evaporation is a natural part of the water cycle and helps regulate temperature and distribute water around the planet.
