I think you are allowed to move at night. On day 2, you cannot be caught until 12:00 moon because there will not be enough footage for the hour long show.
There is no pre-set stopping point on day one or starting time on day two. Although the Prey travel on foot, they can use other transportation modes. For example, in one episode the Prey hitch hiked a ride for a short distance. In another episode, the Prey used rock climbing gear to scale down a steep cliff.Unless time runs out, the race ends when the Prey successfully arrive at the finish line or if the Mantracker or the Sidekick captures them. To capture the Prey, the Mantracker or the Sidekick must tag or somehow block their movement, but if the rider and horse get close enough, the Prey often concedes. If one of the Prey is caught, the remaining one can continue alone.
Meteors hit the Earth's atmosphere and burn up in a second or two. They streak across the night sky and are gone. Comets are farther away, and move only slowly, night by night, across the sky.
Yes, stars appear to move across the sky at night due to Earth's rotation. This motion is caused by the Earth spinning on its axis, making it seem like the stars are moving when actually it's the Earth moving.
The rotation of the Earth will make stars appear to move in the perception of a viewer. The reality, of course, is they're much to far away to actually move visibly in a single night - their position can vary based on seasons, but relative to one another, there won't be a visible movement. The planets, of course, *do* move, and the observable motion is much greater than that of stars. The word itself comes from "wanderer", in Greek, due to the fact they did move so much in relation to the background, which seemed relatively fixed to observers of the era.
In this context, the sky doesn't move, but the earth rotates creating the illusion that the sky moves (unless you mean clouds which is a different issue altogether.). The sky appears to move from east to west.
Yes, the position of Orion in the night sky does move within an hour due to Earth's rotation. As the Earth spins on its axis, the stars appear to move across the sky, causing their positions to shift gradually over time.
