Neosporin is an antibiotic ointment typically used to prevent infections in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. However, it is not effective for treating fungal spores or infections caused by fungi. If you're dealing with a fungal issue, it's best to consult a healthcare professional for appropriate antifungal treatments rather than using Neosporin.
Mosses reproduce by spores.
The fungus reproduce by microscopic spores. These spores can be spread in the air and soil, where they can be inhaled or come in contact to surfaces.
Lycopodium is homosporous producing only one type of spores.
whats spores though? gosh

yes, i get excellent results from using neosporen, first i pop my zit or pimple removing all sebum, (yes i know your not supposed to but it helps me), secondly i try to turn it in to a regular cut or just a small scab and apply neosporen, to me, my scabs heal faster than pimples... use it, it never hurts
yes you can HOWEVER, you want to make sure the dog is wearing a cone or shield as so it does not eat or lick the wound after the ointment is applied. If ingested, it can poison you dog. Better yet, contact your vet and they can prescribe a dog safe "neosporen" type cream that is non toxic.
oh yea no problem at all might hurt a little but after u get it in just put neosporen on it and it will be fine
