Whether you'll save energy depends on how you will use the lighting. Tube lights tend to draw a high current when they "start up". If you intend on leaving them on for long periods of time then yes, you will probably save energy. But if you use them to turn them on and off a lot in a short period of time I would say no. That's the reason why a lot of big office buildings in big cities like New York never turn off their tube lighting at night.
