The Pacific Plate is currently being subducted under the North American Plate. Subduction zones are when one plate is being forced under another at a convergent boundary (where two plates collide). When the Pacific Plate is being subducted under the North American Plate, the crust of the Pacific Plate melts, and creates volcanoes along the edge of the North American Plate. So, the relative motion of the two plates is that they are converging, or moving together.
This same process is happening at the South American and Nazca Plates.
Mount Logan, located in the Yukon, Canada, is primarily influenced by the interactions between the North American Plate and the Pacific Plate. These two tectonic plates are converging, with the Pacific Plate moving northeastward relative to the North American Plate. This collision leads to compressional forces, resulting in uplift and the formation of the mountain. Additionally, the ongoing tectonic activity contributes to the region's seismicity and glacial dynamics.
The fault between the North American plate and the Pacific plate is the San Andreas Fault.
The Pacific Plate and the North American Plate border each other along the coast of California. The Pacific Plate is slowly moving northwest relative to the North American Plate, which can lead to seismic activity in the region, such as earthquakes.

The Pacific Ocean is situated between Asia & Oceania and the Americas in addition to the Arctic and Southern Oceans. A map of the Pacific Ocean's location is included in the link below.
