Hazel eyes are actually the most misunderstood eye color. First of all, they are a medium mixed color - brown with gold and green. They fall on the Scale right down the middle between the lightest blue to coal black. And hazel eyes are light to deep brown in color. If you've ever seen a "brown-eyed person" "claim" to have hazel eyes and reacted with, "they look brown to me" that's because hazel eyes ARE brown eyes . . . with a twist . . . a golden, reddish twist. There's a modern North American misconception about hazel eyes. Pure hazel eyes are only golden brown and/or reddish brown. Pure hazel eyes have a deep brown iris with small or significant gold amber and/or red/orange specks throughout the iris with some eyes having slight green specks and/or a dark green outline (circle) around the iris. Also there may be a gold amber and/or red/orange ring around the pupil. What hazel eyes could be a blue, grey or significant green mix with brown. This has been known for centuries in Europe and its colonies. However, over the last century, people in North America began misusing the term "hazel" by inaccurately calling any mixed eye color hazel. Hazel eyes are of Indo-European origins and appear to shift in color from deep, chocolate brown to a light gold, amber or honey color depending upon lighting conditions. There may be a green tinting as well for those with green specks. However, green is in no way a requirement for hazel eyes as pure hazel is only brown, red and gold. Hazel eyes are common in Europe, The Middle East, Australia, and the Americas.

When considering the color of braces for someone with brown hair and hazel eyes, it's important to take into account their skin tone as well. Generally, warmer tones like gold, copper, or even a deep red can complement brown hair and hazel eyes nicely. These colors can create a harmonious look that enhances the natural features of the individual. It's also a good idea to consult with an orthodontist for personalized recommendations based on the specific shade of brown hair and hazel eyes.
What looks REALLY good on a brown eye is a medium beige or a gold across the lid, and plum in the crease. OTOH, you can seriously wear any shadow on a brown eye and it'll look good because brown is such a neutral eye color.
Try warm tones like golden blonde or light caramel to complement your fair skin and hazel eyes. These colors will enhance your features and give you a fresh and bright look. Avoid very dark colors that may overpower your complexion.

Almost any color of eyeshadow will compliment hazel eyes because of the different colored flecks in it. Neutral colors like browns and gold will play up the beautiful earth tones in your eyes. If you are looking to really bring out the greens and browns in your eyes, a purple or pink color will make the browns and greens pop because purple and green are opposite on the color wheel, accentuating each other.
I think purple eyeshadow would look good with it. Hope this helped! x
my eyes are hazel, and i have the same problem. i find wearing green makes my eyes look more green. but it does work differently for different people. i say just experiment. good luck!
Purple eyeshadows are good for hazel eyes. Appropriate hairstyles are based on face shape and hair texture, and not hair color.
