Winds in the nothern hemisphere traveling north curve to eastand winds traveling south curve to west to east?

In the Northern Hemisphere, winds traveling north are deflected to the east due to the Coriolis effect, which is caused by the Earth's rotation. Conversely, winds traveling south are also deflected but curve to the west before eventually moving eastward. This deflection occurs because the Earth rotates counterclockwise when viewed from above the North Pole. As a result, both northward and southward winds ultimately contribute to the eastward flow of air.

Is it true or false night and day on earth are caused by earths revolution around the sun?

No, it's the earth's rotation on it's own axis that causes night and day. The Earth is constantly spinning so when one side of the earth is facing the sun that side has sunlight where as at the opposite side of the earth it is night. So while it is day in America in China it's night time. However, Earth's revolution around the sun causes the different seasons. The earth is tilted so that one section (hemisphere) is allways closer to the sun than the other. This relates to the nothern and southern hemisphere. When it is summer in America, the nothern part of the earth is titled towards the sun and the opposite when it is winter.
