Something like half of gas fireplaces run on propane. There are two major gases used in gas fireplaces. The cheaper is natural gas, while the more expensive is propane.
They are two different fuels with different properties, ie, natural gas = 1000 BTU/hour per cubic foot, Propane = 2500 BTU/hour per cubic foot (vapor). Most burners can be converted by simply changing to the recommended burner nozzles. Additionally the pressure regulator and /or fuel valve may need to be changed.
yes it can but apparently isn't ideal. we run acetylene regs on our propane torch.
Nope, I have never heard of one that runs off propane itself..............
First of all I haven't seen a propane gas company shut off any gas going to your home because most homes that run on propane have a tank and if you don't pay your bill then they won't come and fill it. Natural gas companies will shut off your gas and unless its your only way of heat and you have children living inside then they can not shut off your gas in cold winter months but you will still be charged for those months and might include interest so its best to always pay your gas bill and if you are struggling with money then try to keep your home heated to the minimum degrees you can comfortably like instead of your home temp being 74* f try keeping it around 68 or 69*f.
all cars can run on propane... in the dominican republic we have almost all models of cars running on propane from a 4 cylinder to 8 cylinder.. and suvs.. in the dr we have more propane gas stations then regular gas station... is amazing but we had it for more than 5 years already...
dumb a##, fireplaces dont run on gasoline, they run on natural gas
If you have a grill that uses bottled propane, you can have a gas line run directly to it. You'll want to hire a pro to do the job for you so that the installation is a safe one. Most areas require that gas lines be run by plumbers and then approved by an inspector. Most gas grills use propane as fuel, running a gas line to the grill would not be enough. There are grill conversion kits to make your propane grill run off of the natural gas line in your home. These kits can be found at most stores that sell or service grills.
Central heat may run on gas, oil, propane, electric, geothermal or solar.
Natural gas, propane, electricity, steam, & diesel.
any gasoline engine will run on either natural gas or propane ( LPG )
You can blow it and the house up due to overfiring it. Propane has 2.5 times the btu`s of natural gas.
There are several types of gas that you can use in gas powered airsoft guns, it just depends on what kind of gun you have and what kind of performance you want. The main types of gas used are green gas, red gas, co2, propane, and duster gas. Most guns that run co2 use 12 gram capsules and are co2 specific, wile most green gas guns can run red gas (which is more powerful than green gas) with some upgrades. All green gas guns will also run propane (but you will need an adapter to fit on to the propane cylinder) this is the cheapest gas, but you will need to lubricate your gun more often because propane has no silicone oil in it. Duster gas is hard to get in the states and is very weak compared to the other 4 types of gas it is mainly used in very hot conditions to keep performance normal.
Over here in America most cars run on gasoline and some run on diesel fuel, natural gas, propane gas or electric. <><> When you lubricate something, you say you oil it, you don't say you gas it. We call it what it is, refined into various fuels or the basic oil.
6-8 hrs.
Natural gas and Propane are run through copper, using flared fittings or sticks of silver solder for brazing. To be done by a licensed professional gas fitter!!!

MOST refrigerators run on electrical energy. There are a few that use heat energy, in the form of burning propane, natural gas or even kerosene.
