Positive rotations typically go counterclockwise.
The solar system formed from a rotating cloud of gas and dust, which led to a counter clockwise rotation due to the conservation of angular momentum. This rotation direction has been maintained over billions of years due to the lack of significant external forces to change it.
Depends on how the blades are angled. In winter, you want it to blow the warm air off the ceiling, to the floor. In summer, you want it to pull the cool air upwards.
Virtually everything in our solar system rotates or orbits counter-clockwise (CCW), as seen from a location high above the North Pole. The Sun spins CCW, all the planets orbit CCW, 6 of the 8 planets spin CCW (Venus hardly spins at all, and Uranus' spin is parallel to the ecliptic). The Moon, like everything else, orbits CCW and spins, one spin per orbit, CCW.

The bleed valve is turned COUNTER-CLOCKWISE to bleed air from the brake lines. You'll need someone to press the brake pedal as someone else turns the valve to let air/brake fluid out. Once the pedal is down as far as it will go, turn the valve back closed, then the pedal should be let back up. Repeat that process until the brake pedal is firm. Make sure you keep the brake fluid reservoir full.

The reason for this is subject of much speculation.People who are right handed find it easier, in general, to push the merry-go-round in a counterclockwise direction.
