One of our westies adores the snow, puts her snout in it, plays in it, and will stay out for hours. She goes on the screened porch in below freezing weather. She is a purebred. Our rescued Westie hates the cold and snow, does not linger. She came from Mississippi so I guess she is just a southern girl at heart.
cold LOL
people like cold weather because the coldness decreases the amount of work your immune system has to do.
it is cold but not as cold as winter more fall
snow is a white flaky type of precipitation that occurs in cold weather
A cold front brings in cold air. The cold air causes warm air to rise quickly. The rising air forms cumulus clouds. There is often heavy precipitation at a cold front.
Westies were bred for hunting and digging. Westies would chase rodents through anything. My westie insists that she should swim in her water bowl every day. Westies absolutely LOVE water!
Westies may shiver when they are nervous about something like going to the vet or because they are cold. My westie has a jacket to keep him warm in the winter :)
No, they're not illegal, they are simply not Westies.
Westies are affectionate, loyal, Playful, enthusiastic and act like clowns! However some westies can be stubborn and bossy. But my westie, called Willow, Is not stubborn or bossy.
Westies do not molt as much as most dogs but they do have a certain month.

Westies are a breed of dog, and dogs are carnivores. So a Westie is a carnivore.
sometimes
Yes, Westies are moderate shedders. They have a double coat (topcoat and undercoat), which requires regular grooming to minimize shedding. Brushing them weekly can help reduce loose hair and maintain a healthy coat.
Some do, some don't -- Westies are very much individuals on the cuddle/lap-dog issue. We have a male who adores being cuddled and picked up; other Westies do not. Generally, many Westie fanciers find the males are more affectionate than the females ---but not always. Again, it depends on the individual dog.
