Your nose can smell, and so can your body, using two different definitions. If you mean more seriously, then the nose does have two types of scent receptors. One type is what is tied to the sensory area of the brain and registers as things you actually smell. The other type ties to more emotional and glandular parts of the brain. That is what is responsible for fear or sexual arousal upon smelling certain things.
