it's gravity disturbs the oceans. can cause giant waves.
Giant ocean waves may be the result of constructive interference of smaller waves.
The name of giant sea waves caused by an earthquake is a tsunami. Tsunamis can travel across oceans at high speeds, carrying massive amounts of energy that can result in significant destruction when they reach land. It is important to have early warning systems in place to help mitigate the impact of tsunamis.
They maintain gravity as light waves maintain light. They travel at the same speed (300,000,000 meters per second) as light. The difference is that the quantum of gravity, called the graviton, while it exists in theory, has never yet been detected.
There is literally no answer to this. Waves are produced by many different things. In the effort to salvage some kind of answerable question from this, most waves in the ocean are produced by wind.
There are two entirely different meaning of waves produced by gravity. In oceanography they're called tides. In astrophysics they're called gravitational waves.
Waves produced by earthquakes are called seismic waves. These waves can be further categorized into primary (P-waves), secondary (S-waves), and surface waves.
The waves produced by earthquakes are called seismic waves.
They're called Seismic waves
These waves are called "Tsunami" Note , Earthquakes CAN cause giant waves (not all sub sea earthquakes do this). Note also that there are other causes of Tsunami.

Modulating gravity waves is currently beyond our technological capabilities, as gravity waves are extremely weak and difficult to manipulate. These waves are produced by massive cosmic events such as colliding black holes or neutron stars, and detecting them requires highly advanced equipment like LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory).
The waves that we perceive as heat are called infrared waves. These waves have longer wavelengths than visible light, and they are produced by the vibration and movement of atoms and molecules.
Gravity waves have nothing to do with tornadoes.
