Ilium: (M) Deeper, projects farther above sacroiliac joint. (F) Shallower, does not project as far above sacroiliac joint.

Sacrum: (M) narrower and deeper. (F) Wider and shallower.

Coccyx: (M) less movable, more vertical. (F) more movable, tilted posteriorly.

Width of greater pelvis: (M) Anterior superior spines closer together, hips less flared. (F) Anterior superior spines farther apart, hips more flared.

Pelvic inlet: (M) Heart shaped. (F) Round or oval.

Pelvic outlet: (M) Smaller. (F) Larger.

Pubic symphysis: (M) Taller. (F) Shorter.

Greater Sciatic notch: (M) Narrower. (F) Wider.
