Surprisingly, it seems possible. See link attached.
I used something called Liquid Stainless Steel to paint all three of my white kitchen appliances. I rolled it on and then brushed back over it with a wide brush that's in their kit. I am happy with the way it turned out. It's a more muted look - which I like.

With a magnet. Aluminum is not magnetic. That is of course dependent on the steel. All aluminum is non magnetic, however so are some types of steel. The degree of magnetic response or magnetic permeability is derived from the microstructure of the steel. A totally non-magnetic material has a magnetic permeability of 1. Austenitic structures are totally non-magnetic and so a 100% austenitic stainless steel would have a permeability of 1. In practice this is not achieved. There is always a small amount of ferrite and/or martensite in the steel and so permeability values are always above 1. Typical values for standard austenitic stainless steels can be in the order of 1.05 - 1.1. It is possible for the magnetic permeability of austenitic steels to be changed during processing. For example, cold work and welding are liable to increase the amount of martensite and ferrite respectively in the steel. A familiar example is in a stainless steel sink where the flat drainer has little magnetic response whereas the pressed bowl has a higher response due to the formation of martensite particularly in the corners. In practical terms, austenitic stainless steels are used for "non-magnetic" applications, for example magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In these cases, it is often necessary to agree a maximum magnetic permeability between customer and supplier. It can be as low as 1.004. REF: http://www.bssa.org.uk/faq.php?id=24 (British Stainless Steel Association) SECOND: very low tech and slightly destructive, use an angle grinder or if you have to a drill with a grinding/cutting bit. Briefly touch the metal with the bit. Steel and/or stainless steel will spark, aluminum will not. THIRD: very-very low tech. Measure, or just feel, the weight of the part. Aluminium metal used for constructions, has approximately a specific gravity of 2700 kg/m3, while stainless steel 7800 ton/m.
To determine if a material is steel, you can use a magnet; steel is typically magnetic due to its iron content. Additionally, you can perform a spark test by grinding the material against a hard surface; steel produces bright, white sparks. Another method is to check for corrosion resistance; while some stainless steels resist rust, carbon steels will corrode more easily. Lastly, examining the material's density and weight can provide clues, as steel is generally denser than aluminum or plastic.
Pigment is the color added to paint. Green paint has green pigment, red paint red pigment, and so on. Many paints will have a blend of different colored pigments to get a precise color, such as red and white to get pink.
Kenmore makes most of their appliances with a stainless steel option including refridgerators, stoves, microwaves and dishwashers. The stainless feature is usually a premium upgrade option to the traditional black or white.
Stainless steel is generally stronger and more durable than white gold. Stainless steel is a very hard metal and it is more scratch-resistant compared to white gold. White gold, on the other hand, is a softer metal that may scratch or show signs of wear more easily than stainless steel.
yes Fingerprints show up good on black & stainless steel appliances more then they do on white or almond ones
Stainless steel dishwasher are more expensive that white or black models.
products are out thereyes, most paint stores carry an aluminum or silvery paint coating, kelly Moore used to have a roof coating product that was a glossy silvery finish. i think the look will be "quite" gawdy on a kitchen appliance. good luck
no you cant
No.
I have found that it looks alot like stainless steel when buffed and polished. It is pure steel.
Home Improvement stores have Appliance Paint. You would follow the instructions by the manufacturer to use this paint.

Stainless steel is more resistant to stains, particularly rust stains, than white and enamel on the GE JP202.
The appliances are all the same, except for their color and, perhaps, the texture of the outside. Stainless to me looks lighter and less heavy in a room, but that is a trend that may be passing. If you have a bright kitchen, then black may work out. Pricing for both may be higher than that for white or bisque.
