How can you seal Poly-urethane and acrylic material?

This could be taken a lot of different ways, but I'm going to approach this like so: You have a container made from polyurethane and a container made from acrylic, and they leak.

How you approach this depends on what is going in the container. If the container is not going to hold something like live fish or drinking water, I would use a polyurethane sealant like Sika Construction Sealant.

On a container used for an aquarium or a drinking water tank, I would use aquarium sealer, which is a non toxic silicone.

To seal polyurethane, simply apply a new coat of polyurethane over the existing layer and allow it to dry completely. For acrylic material, use a clear acrylic sealer spray or brush-on sealant to protect the surface from moisture and wear.
