How could you live on mars without oxygen?

People cannot stay on the moon for extended times. During the Apollo moon landings the astronauts took the oxygen with them which was kept sealed inside the space modules and space suits. Even then they only stayed on the moon for a few hours on each mission.

There is no way that people can live on Mars without any protection from temperature, pressure, radiation, and air supply. That is what space suits basically do.

Note that oxygen is only a small part of the air that we are breathing. 78% is Nitrogen, 21% is oxygen. The oxygen is however the most important because it bonds with red blood cells in our lungs, and that oxygen is needed in the chemical process to gain energy out of food.
