I have a theoretical derivation of the redshift and it indicates that the redshift indicates equilibrium of the universe, not expansion. The redshift is an indicator of the balance between the centripetal force and the centrifugal force. Hubble was right, the redshift was an unknown principle and the universe. The redshift of atoms is the fine structure constant and serves the same purpose, balancing the scalar forces in a quaternion, 4D universe.
