Many people died because of them being forced to go to war, and there was a loss in family generations in the sense that many fathers and sons were killed and families were no longer continued. Also, the women's loved ones were gone, their husbands and sons and if the men were off to conscription, many jobs would be unoccupied and there would not be enough men to farm.
people should visit Australia because it is a great place the relax and enjoy your life. Australia is also famous for its waves. :)
Yes, the 2011 tsunami in Japan did impact other countries in the form of significant damage to coastlines, the loss of life, and disruptions in economies. Countries in the Pacific region, including the United States, Russia, and Australia, experienced varying levels of impact from the tsunami waves and resulting debris.
No impact at all on the Universe, but serious impacts for life on earth, unless we can stop it.
who really cares
Cyclone Tracy, which struck Darwin on Christmas Day in 1974, is considered Australia's most destructive cyclone. It caused widespread devastation, destroying over 70% of the city's buildings and resulting in 71 fatalities. The cyclone's intensity, with wind gusts exceeding 200 km/h, and its timing during a major holiday contributed to the high impact and loss of life. Tracy led to significant changes in building codes and disaster management in Australia.
Originally the indigenous inhabitants of Australia made an impact on the land of Australia. However major changes on the forests animal life and river systems were the result of European settlement after it was settled by the British.
Unfair this is due to people not being able to have their own opinion on how to run their life.
The Levee Masse, or the mass conscription enacted during the French Revolutionary Wars, had a profound impact on the French people by mobilizing a significant portion of the population for military service. This policy not only increased patriotism and a sense of national identity but also led to widespread social upheaval as men left their homes and families to fight. The conscription contributed to the radicalization of the revolution, as it intensified class tensions and created a more militarized society. Ultimately, it shaped the course of the revolution and the future of France, influencing both military and civilian life.
Australia's Surfing Life was created in 1985.
Right to Life Australia was created in 1973.
Human rights, no person should be forced to fight in a war that they chose not to be a part of. If service is a requirement then this can be rendered in other ways. the payment offered to conscripts was always poor and the period of conscription invariably cut into an important part of a young persons life. conscription is unnecessary as people can be found to do the necessary work voluntarily by offering the right wage package .
conscription should be allowed because as a citizen in your country, it is your obligation and responsibility to defend it and be there for it no matter what. The amazing quality of life you have is because of your country and what its provided for you. So when it comes to conscription you should be patriotic and support it. Not being there for your country when it needs you is like committing treason. I know if Canada ever went to war I would definitely be there to support it eh.
Life was hard
