Which metals react with water to form hydrogen?

Alkali metals: Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr.

What are the metals kept under a paraffin?

Li (Lithium), Na (Sodium), K (potassium). They are highly reactive - they react violently with water and also react with oxygen.

Which metals does not react with water?

Most metals do not react with water, especially at room temperature. It is easier to state which metals DO react with water. Those would be Li, K, Sr, Ca and Na. Those reacting with hot water (steam) would be Mg, Al, Zn and Cu. Most other metals do NOT react with water.

What is the word equation for the reaction of Li Na and K with H2O?

The word equation for the reaction of Li, Na, and K with H2O is: Lithium (Li) + Water (H2O) → Lithium hydroxide (LiOH) + Hydrogen gas (H2) Sodium (Na) + Water (H2O) → Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) + Hydrogen gas (H2) Potassium (K) + Water (H2O) → Potassium hydroxide (KOH) + Hydrogen gas (H2)

Metals can be stored in what?

All of the 1st group metals (Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr) because they react with the air and many other things.

What is the strongest reducing agent among Na K Ba Li?

k

What does Li Na and K have in common?

Lithium, sodium and potassium are all group I elements. They are also called alkali metals. They react violently with water to form strongly alkaline solutions. The elements, as we descend the group in the periodic table, become increasingly reactive.Li Na K are alkali metals. They are present in group-1. They have one valence electron. All of these elements are located in group 1 of the periodic table. Each of these elements are highly reactive metals. They react with acids to produce salts. All of these are good conductors of electricity and heat.Li,Na and K are in the 1st group of the periodic table. They are alkaline metals. They all have a valency of 1.

What element is more dense than water?

All of them except for Li, Na, K, and the ones that are gaseous at room temperature.

What Group 1A elements is the most reactive cs Li K Na?

K

Most salts (alkali metals)?

Li, Na, K, NH4

Choose the element that is largest Li Na Rb K?

Rb (Rubidium) is the largest element among Li, Na, Rb, and K as you move down the same group or in the same period from left to right on the periodic table.

Which grouping of circles when considered in order from the top to the bottom best represent the relative size of the atom of Li Na K and Rb respectively?

Rb > K > Na > Li. The order based on atomic size is Rb > K > Na > Li. Therefore, the size of the circles should reflect this order from largest to smallest.
