It's because they aren't getting enough exercise. When you walk, or run, or even just STANDING, it takes energy to pump the blood uphill to your heart. In space, in "zero-G", there isn't as much work, and it's all easier because you don't have to lift things against gravity.
Yes, you can become 2 inches taller in space; but will return to normal height when back on earth. Gravity compresses the soft cartilage in your spine as you sit and stand up all day; so you are taller in the morning than at any other time in the day. This resets at night when you lie down, so no gravity would mean no compression.
You know when they are taller than they were!
Trying to grow to reach a light source
== == yes it does.
don't now
Currently, there are no farmers in outer space. However, there are experiments being conducted to grow plants in space for future long-duration missions. These experiments aim to provide fresh food for astronauts and understand how plants grow in microgravity.
Forest trees are taller because there is more space for them to grow. Forest trees are taller because there is more space for them to grow.
i dont think thay can grow because the plants need oxygen and there is not oxygen in outer space
In microgravity environments like outer space, astronauts experience a slight increase in height due to the lack of gravity compressing the spinal discs. However, over a long duration, the lack of gravity can lead to muscle atrophy and bone density loss, causing astronauts to become slightly shorter upon returning to Earth.
The astronuts grow their own garden herbs in space
How we grow taller 4 months
Yes up to 2 inches due to less gravity on their spines. They return back to the mormnal height on earth. It is similar to the effect sleeping has on the spine. On awakening you are 1/2" or so taller than in the evening.
You can't grow taller than what your DNA determines.
