They Began to Adapt to the changes over a certain period of time
fossils are used to determine the history of changes in environment and organisms because to see how they lived long ago on the environment and things like that
Carrying Capacity
A native organism is one that has been in the area long enough to have modified and adapted to best thrive in that environment. It and the other native organisms have achieved a stable, self-sustaining ecosystem in which each organism has a niche.
Examples of physical changes: transformation of clouds (water as gas) in rain (water as liquid), transformation of rain (liquid) in snow or ice (solids), etc. Examples of chemical changes: formation of smogs, acid rains, water bodies pollution, etc.
Organisms can change over time through the process of evolution, which occurs through natural selection, genetic drift, gene flow, and mutation. These changes can lead to the development of new traits or adaptations that help the organism survive in its environment. Over long periods of time, these changes can eventually result in the formation of new species.

Because they compete for food and space. And: An ecosystem is a place were biotic (organisms are anyhing that are living which is aka biotic) and abiotic (non- living things) interact so if ecosystems never existed we'd all be dead. Ecosystems are also where biotic and biotic interact. Organisms rely on eachother to survive.
adaptation
The ability of an organism to react to stimuli from its environment or habitat is known as adaptation. Without being able to adapt, organisms would be unable to cope in the long term even with the most minor of changes. It would be like trying to bend a metal ruler with you hands.
Organisms can adapt to their habitat or environment. If they don't adapt, then they may not survive long enough to reproduce.
Changes in matter can lead to harmful effects such as environmental pollution, release of toxic chemicals, and alterations in ecosystem balance. These changes can disrupt natural processes, harm living organisms, and have long-term negative impacts on the environment and human health.
The cyst enables many organisms to survive in the environment for long periods of time without need for food or water
Short term changes in my environment may include fluctuations in temperature and weather conditions, while long term changes could involve shifts in vegetation patterns or changes in ecosystems due to climate change. Both short term and long term changes can impact the overall health and stability of the environment.
adaptation
Observable changes in organisms over time, such as changes in physical traits or behaviors, provide evidence for evolution by natural selection. These changes illustrate how species can adapt to their environment through genetic variation and selection pressures, leading to the evolution of new species over long periods of time. By studying observable changes, scientists can better understand the mechanisms driving evolution.
Carrying Capacity
Living things or "organisms" adapt to their environment in order to survive. Natural selection is one of the mechanisms of evolution and organisms that are the fittest will produce more viable offspring and their genotype will be carried on. The only mechanism that allows organisms to physically and genetically "change" is mutation. This occurs over long periods of time (eg: millions of years) and if the mutation makes the organism stronger and better than the new gene will remain present in the gene pool.
