I've been doing this recently in science for my GCSE's what happens is there are dominant cells and non dominant cells
for example so a woman and a man are having a child. the man has ginger hair and the woman has blond. one of the will be dominant and the other not. I'm not exactly shore of the order but i do know ginger is more dominant than blond. ALLTERNATE ANSWER! first of all lets talk how it happen. When the two germ cell male sperm and female ova get fused they have chromosome or DNA in them which is responsible for transferring the character. Now during division of this zygote after fusion the phenomena of crossing over take place which mix all the character of both the parents and child get both of them. The question then arise which character will be expressed is depend upon the dominant and ressesive trait if the trait of father is dominant then it will be exprssed and vice versa
Heritable characteristics are passed on from parents to offspring through genes. Genes are segments of DNA that code for specific traits, and they are inherited through the reproductive cells (sperm and egg). Offspring inherit a combination of genes from both parents, which determines their unique genetic makeup and characteristics.
This process is known as heredity. Offspring inherit traits from their parents through the passing of genes, which are units of heredity passed down through generations. These genes determine various characteristics such as eye color, height, and blood type in offspring.
Characteristics are inherited through genetic material passed down from parents to offspring. This genetic material determines traits such as eye color, height, and blood type. Inheritance is governed by the combination of genes that parents pass on to their offspring during reproduction.
hereditary charecteristics are those charecterstics that are passed to an offspring by its parents's (male, female) genetically
It is genetics.
genetic characteristics
the characteristics which are passed on by to a offspring by its parents
Traits or characteristics that an offspring inherits from its parents are known as genetic traits or inherited traits. These traits are determined by the genetic material passed down from the parents to their offspring.
Characteristics passed down by parents to the offspring.
Traits are passed from parents to offspring through the transmission of genes. Genes are sections of DNA that code for specific traits, and offspring inherit a combination of genes from both parents. This genetic information is then expressed in the offspring’s physical characteristics and traits.
Offspring inherit a combination of genetic traits from their parents, including physical characteristics like eye color, hair color, and height. They may also inherit certain genetic predispositions to medical conditions or diseases. Additionally, offspring can inherit behavioral traits and personality characteristics from their parents.
This process is known as heredity, where offspring inherit traits from their parents through genetic information passed down in the form of DNA. Inherited characteristics can include physical traits such as eye color and height, as well as non-physical traits such as behavior and intelligence. Genetic variations and combinations result in the unique traits seen in each individual.
?Mendel, widely acknowledged as the first geneticist.the answer is either lamarck or darwinit's lamarck. he believed that characteristics developed by parents are passed on to their offspring.

Parents pass on traits to their offspring through the transmission of genetic information. This information is contained in the parents' DNA, which is passed on to their offspring through the process of reproduction. Offspring inherit a combination of genetic material from both parents, which determines their physical characteristics and other traits.

Genetics.EDITED: I agree, it's genetics!!!
