If you have the weight in pounds of some object on some planet,

multiply the weight by

14.594/acceleration of gravity on that planet in feet per sec2

or by

4.448/acceleration of gravity on that planet in meters per sec2

to find the mass of the object in kilograms.

Example:

On earth, an object that weighs 1 pound has 0.4536 kg of mass.

In other places, the relationship between mass and weight is different.
