If you are familiar with a glass cutter, use that to resize the mirror. My best suggestion would be take it to a glass shop and let them do it. They can bevel the edges and its a whole lot safer.
I think the leech has Bilateral symmetry meaning that if you cut it down the middle you will get two mirror images.
If you continually cut it down, you will never know.
A butterfly cannot be divided into two mirror halves as they are asymmetrical creatures with distinct patterns on either side of their wings. Each half of a butterfly is unique and cannot be perfectly mirrored on the other side.
A large square cut stone is commonly known as a "cushion cut" or "princess cut" depending on the shape of the stone.
To exterminate a large cactus, you can cut it down to ground level using a saw or axe. Then, carefully dig around the base of the cactus to expose the roots, and remove as much of the root system as possible. You can also treat the remaining roots with herbicide to prevent regrowth.
cut it
To be cut down to size is to be humbled.
The energy needed to cut down a tree depends on the size of the tree. Small trees need a less amount of energy than large trees.
When something is beveled, it is cut or finished "at a slant" to a reference plane. Take a beveled mirror. The surface of the mirror is flat, but the edges are cut (ground off, actually) at an angle to the plane of the surface of the mirror. That part of the mirror that was ground down is the bevel.
There isn't much you can make with a mirror that is cracked. Depends on the size of the mirror and the crack, but you could cut the mirror with a glass cutter and make a new mirror out of the old one. Cut the best part out and frame it as a new mirror.
Specifically in the Amazon in a year a forest the size of New Jersey gets cut down.
Deforestation
As said, depending on the tree and the bullets, it is not only possible, but documented in the Smithsonian museum. Follow this link for an image of a large tree cut off by rifle fire during the battle for Spotsylvania Courthouse during the American Civil War. http://www.civilwar.si.edu/weapons_stump.html
It magnifies your face. IN concave mirrors, the object in the mirror is larger than its actual size so therfore you use it to see if you have done a clean cut and to get those pesky hair follicles

Cut is with a sturdy and sharp knife.
