Cut the piece of paper having the DNA into small pieces and drop it into a 1.5 mL microfuge tube.
Add enough TE buffer to submerge the the piece of paper, give sufficient time for the DNA to get into the buffer.
Spin the tube at 13,000 rpm for 5 minutes.
collect the supernatant which has your DNA and use it

Whatman are world leaders in the sale of laboratory grade filter papers. They pride themselves on the quality of their filter paper and the reproducibility achieved when using their filter papers.
Lysine and aspartic acid have different chemical properties, such as charge and polarity, which affect their interactions with the stationary phase and the mobile phase in paper chromatography. Lysine is a basic amino acid with a positively charged amino group at physiological pH, while aspartic acid is an acidic amino acid with a negatively charged carboxyl group. These differences result in distinct migration rates on the chromatography paper, causing them to elute at different times. Consequently, lysine will not elute together with aspartic acid during the separation process.
Coffee filter paper is actually a good quality filter paper but it does not separate liquids from liquids like oil from water, but solids from liquids.
The filter paper can be drilled.
To prepare a filter paper for filtration, first fold the filter paper in half and then in quarters. Next, open the filter paper to form a cone shape and place it in the filter funnel. Wet the filter paper with a small amount of the solvent being used for filtration to help it adhere to the funnel.
Filter paper is white.
Filter paper is very smooth and is recycled paper.

You could say 'Filter paper is known as porous paper.'

It is a paper cartridge filter. It is a paper cartridge filter.
Ash content in filter paper refers to the residue left behind after burning the filter paper. It is a measure of the inorganic materials present in the filter paper, such as minerals or impurities. Ash content can affect the performance of the filter paper in certain applications.

Prepare the bacterial sample by lysing the cells to release the DNA. Add reagents from the extraction kit to the sample to bind and purify the DNA. Centrifuge the sample to separate the DNA from other cellular components. Wash the DNA to remove any contaminants. Elute the purified DNA from the kit for downstream applications.
Oil can pass through filter paper. Also bear in mind that there are different grades of filter paper. I personally have filtered oil very successfully, using an ordinary paper towel as my filter paper.
