"people-procedure-software-hardware-data" (was someone's previous answer) I don't know about that. Information theory is about the 3 c's : Compression, Correction, and Cryptography. Compression is about abbreviating a message to make it as efficient as possible to get across a telephone wire or some other channel. Like how to compress a CD audio track into an MP3 so you can upload it. Correction is about error correction and checksums to make sure the MP3 is put back together again properly. By the way, almost all transmission methods have loss, and are considered "noisy channels". The goal is a perfect message across and imperfect medium. Cryptography is about encoding and decoding for security. These all have to do with treating data as signals or symbols and seeing what you can do with those symbols in each of these realms. It doesn't matter what song the MP3 stores, and likewise, Information Theory is not concerned with any of the meanings in the compressed, corrected or encrypted data. So, even though "Information" is in the title, it isn't about meaning. Look up Claude Shannon, who is considered the father of Information Theory. The question was put to him by industry how much telephone wire they should install to do what they needed it to do, but have enough bandwidth so they wouldn't have to re-install the wire anytime soon. And he spawned an entire branch of mathematics that gave us the digital age.

How is the big bang theory is an example od scienctific theory?

Hello i am minakshi answer is that the big bang theory is an example of old scientific theory as big bang theory explains that there was an explosion but the isotropy and the homogenity of the universe is not explained by big bang theory to explain his we connect inflatation theory with big bang theory to explain it so the big bang theory is also an example of old scientific theory.

What is the four elements theory?

The four elements theory is an ancient concept that suggests the world is composed of four fundamental elements: earth, fire, water, and air. These elements are believed to represent the essential building blocks of all matter and energy in the universe. It is a philosophical framework that has been used in various cultures and traditions to explain the nature of existence and balance in the natural world.

What are the elements of theory?

There are two elements that underlie theories. A theory presents a model or relationship of a phenomena qualitatively, quantitatively, and even combinations both. The next factor behind this theoretic relationship are testable and repeatable formulas and verifiable fact. Once theoretic evidence is insurmountable theories become regarded as scientific law.

Democritus atomic theory fails to explain?

Democritus' atomic theory fails to explain several key aspects of matter, particularly the nature of chemical reactions and the forces that hold atoms together. He proposed that atoms were indivisible and indestructible, lacking any understanding of subatomic particles or the role of electrons, protons, and neutrons. Additionally, his theory did not account for the varying properties of elements or the complexities of bonding and molecular interactions. Overall, while it laid the groundwork for later atomic theories, it lacked the empirical support and detail needed to fully explain the behavior of matter.

Is waves theory explain the love between mother and her child?

I can't seem to find any information on this theory. Unless someone can post any links to info about a theory like this, I dunno. Unless you're referring to the theory about light and sound waves. If that's the case, then no. That theory does not explain love of any kind.

What is a major behavioral theories that help explain information systems affect organizations.?

The Social Technical Theory is a major behavioral theory that helps explain how information systems affect organizations. It emphasizes that the effectiveness of an information system is determined not only by the technology itself, but also by the interaction between people and technology within the organizational context. This theory stresses the importance of considering both technical and social factors when designing and implementing information systems in organizations.
