I'm not exactly sure of ant scientific way, but try doing stuff like having someone throw something at you, and try to deflect it. Using tennis balls and a racket could help with that. I have friends who throw pencils and things at me, and I've gotten much faster by simply hitting them out of the air. Try something along that line, it should help.
