Zinc forms a compound with sulphur. it gives zinc sulphide, known as the mineral zinc blende or sphalerite. Hope I helped:) ^_^
ZnS is a 4:4 co-ordinate compound. It adopts a face centred cubic array.
The process used for the concentration of zinc blende (sphalerite) is called froth flotation. In this method, the ore is crushed and mixed with water to create a slurry, then collectors are added to bind to the zinc minerals. Air is bubbled through the slurry, creating froth that carries the zinc-rich minerals to the surface, while the gangue materials remain submerged. This allows for the selective separation of zinc from impurities.
Zinc was found by mistake. It's the German word for zink. And it was found in Greece.Andreas Sigismund Marggraf rediscovered Zinc in India in 1746.
Zinc in Latin is "zincum."

There are four zinc blende atoms per unit cell.
No, zinc blende and rocksalt are different crystal structures. Zinc blende has a tetrahedral arrangement of atoms, while rocksalt has a cubic arrangement. Both structures are commonly found in crystalline materials but they have distinct geometries and properties.
Blende may refer to: Sphalerite (Zinc blende, ZnS).
Zinc is obtained from zinc blende/sphalerite ore (zinc sulphide)

Another name for Zinc is "Zink" if I'm not mistaken. :D Against part: zink is the miss spelling of zinc so that is not the answer
When Zinc and Sulphur are heated, an exothermic (giving OUT heat) reaction occurs. The Product formed is called Zinc Sulphide formula ZnS, also known as Zinc Blende in its mineral form. The Equation for the reaction is : Zn + S = ZnS, but I am not sure as the mixture is heated in presence of oxygen. If oxygen works as a catalyst then the equation is right otherwise the product would be Zinc Sulphate.(ZnSO4)
Sulfide ores such as copper, lead, zinc, and nickel are commonly concentrated by froth flotation process. The process involves selectively separating hydrophobic materials from hydrophilic materials by creating a froth layer on the surface of the slurry.
You should write "visier". Other alternatives are: Schirm, blende.
dob't know when i do i will post which is probally going to take quite a while
